Distorted has teamed up with Static Thought and Hellcat Records to give away three sets of  the band’s previous releases “In The Trenches” (2007) and “Motive For Movement” (2008) to tie in with their upcoming UK and Euro tour in January and February.

The East Bay hardcore punks, consisting of Eric, Daniel, Johann, and new member Drew on drums, are a punk band trying to bring back the integrity and originality that music has long since lost.

Static Thought is a punk band that is influenced by all styles of music. AC/DC, Van Halen, Johnny Cash, Bob Dylan, Led Zeppelin, Toots and the Maytals, Metallica, The Police, Tom Waits, Rolling Stones, Iron Maiden and many others are major influences to the band. “People listen to music because it touches a nerve that nothing else does. Because of that, each style has something to offer.”

On the upcoming new material Eric added; “We have a bunch of new songs that we are going to start playing on the upcoming European tour. They are some of the best and I am very proud of them. Look for a new sound and direction
for the band in the months to come. We are very excited for the future and we can’t wait to get back on the road!”

To win one of the prizes on offer, simply drop us a email with why you want a copy of the set and we will choose 3 winners!
