Steve: So, how happy have you been with your most recent record “Fluent In Stroll”?

Dave:  We’ve had a great response; the people seem to love the tunes.  Its fun playing such positive songs each night on stage and having The Doped Up Dollies singing with us.

Steve: What’s your most memorable gig/music moment of 2009?

Dave:  It was probably Warped Tour when we head lined the Gorge in Washington after 3oh!3.  They had about 3000 people watching, we had about 300.

Steve: You were on tour with Reel Big Fish and Sonic Boom Six in the UK , how much were you looking forward to that?

Dave:  Well we love playing with The Fish and were so happy to have been asked.  Their shows are so fun, that it just makes the entire vibe of the tour great.

Steve: Have you had any weird fan meeting situations at a show?

Dave:  When Tim Armstrong shouted me an introduction to Lars at the café on Warped Tour; that was pretty serial.
Tim:  “Dave, Dave I want you to meet my friend Lars.”
Lars:  “Hey man, hey.”
Dave:  “Nice to meet yah Lars.”

Steve: With the end and start of a decade; which bands/albums have you been most impressed with in the past ten years?

Dave:
The Dropkick Murphy’s – Because they made their dynasty themselves.
Jeffery Star – Because he is brave and funny to talk to.
The Millionaires – Because they piss everyone off and I love that.
Yelle – Because I like her music.
DJ BC – Because I like his music.
Melt-Banana – Because they are my favourite band on earth.

Steve: Sum up 2009 in 5 words.

Dave:  The boys are so unmanly.

Steve: What were your favourite records of 2009?

Dave:
Melt-Banana – Bambies Dilemma
Yelle – Whatever her record is called
