Ashers touring UK/Europe in August / debut album “Kill Your Master” due July 9
Ashers are a hardcore/trash punk band from Boston, USA featuring Mark Civitarese as their frontman (The Unseen) & members of Crash & Burn and Deadly Sins; Billy Brown, Joe Packard, KC and Justin Brooks.
The band are influenced by other genres like Rock’n’Roll and Metal and in November 2008 they released their first EP, which is now followed by their debut album “Kill Your Master“ released through Concrete Jungle Records in Europe on July 9th. “The lyrics are a criticism of society and politics but also concern personal views and experiences. Thus they do not want to teach you what is wrong or right but encourage you to think and act for yourself. Life is what you make it, size what you want“.
Ashers recently played some shows in Europe and are coming back in August 2010 and will play festivals including Rebellion Festival and Camden Carnage in the UK. Other European festivals include Tomorrow Belongs To You, Endless Summer and Pod Parou Festival which are already confirmed.
Mark has been busy the last few years, not only as the singer of The Unseen, but collaborating or providing guest vocals with Blood For Blood, Rejected Youth, The Rabble and most recently singing on Death Before Dishonor’s new album.
