Bad Religion ‘returns’ to Epitaph
This summer punk rock institution BAD RELIGION will be taking its entire back catalogue home to its birth label Epitaph Records
The titles include the landmark records Tested, No Substance, The Gray Race, The New America & Stranger Than Fiction, summing up to seventeen of the legendary punk veteran’s releases. The five re-issued albums will be available August 25th in all digital platforms and September 1st in physical stores throughout Europe. Brett Gurewitz, guitarist/co-founder of the iconic band and Epitaph Record’s CEO states “For the company, nothing could be gratifying than bringing together the entire significant catalogue of our founding artist Bad Religion. Of course on a personal level it just feels like the kids have finally come back home where they belong. “
Bad Religion’s – Epitaph’s flagship band – anthems of bittersweet idealism and guarded hope seem more relevant now than ever before, their rousing wall-of-sound punk a soundtrack to troubled times. Their latest and fourteenth studio album, entitled New Maps of Hell was released last year and was rapidly embraced by both fans and critics all over the world, while the commemoration of almost 30 years of the band’s existence quickly approaches
