GASLIGHT ANTHEM SET TO RELEASE “AMERICAN SLANG” IN JUNE 2010 / UK & EUROPE DATES ANNOUNCED

The Gaslight Anthem
2009 was a monumental year for The Gaslight Anthem, seeing them tour the world in support of their acclaimed album ‘The ‘59 Sound’ and were featured performers at major festivals including Coachella, Rock Am Ring, Glastonbury, Pinkpop, Lollapalooza, Reading and Leeds, Hyde Park Calling, Fuji Rock, Hurricane, Gurten and Roskilde.
The Gaslight Anthem are now hard at work recording the follow-up to ‘The ‘59 Sound’ with producer Ted Hutt at The Magic Shop in New York City. The album will be called ‘American Slang’ and is set to be released in June 2010 on SideOneDummy Records. The band has just announced the first of many UK/European tour dates to come, in support of their new album:

June 22 – Birmingham (UK) Academy 1 (headline show)
June 23 – Glasgow (UK) ABC (headline show)
June 24 – Manchester (UK) Academy 1 (headline show)

July 1 – Amsterdam (Netherlands) Melkweg (headline show)
