International Superheroes of Hardcore announce release of EP and post a new song
Love ‘em or hate ‘em, or not know what to do with ‘em, but the International Superheroes of Hardcore aren’t going away. In fact, they’re doing just the opposite. On November 25th, ISHC and Bridge Nine Records will be releasing the 4-song HPHC EP on a limited edition 7″ vinyl EP. To celebrate it’s release, a new song off the EP titled, ” Keepin’ It Real” has been posted on the ISHC MySpace page.
Starting Tuesday November 11th, the vinyl preorder will be available exclusively through Bridge Nine’s webstore, and comes complete with a full digital download of all four songs. The EP will be made available in stores shortly thereafter. For those who like legal digital downloads, the songs will also be available on Itunes internationally,as well as Amazon just in time for holiday shopping.
Featuring four songs, Captain SXE Chad Gilbert said himself,
These four songs originally didn’t make the cut for the US version of Takin’ It Ova because they didn’t fit the concept of the original album. But now we’re really excited that these four songs get to see the light of day. They were available on the Japanese edition and they’re very important songs to us and we’re very excited the world gets to hear what we have to say.
Following the success of their stint on the US Easycore Tour with New Found Glory, Crime In Stereo, and A Day To Remember, SXE Gilbert indicated that there are possibilities for more new ISHC material in the future.
These songs take time to write and perfect… it’s not like we can just crank out 15 songs and call it an album- so it’ll happen when the time is right for all of us.
Featuring artwork collaborated by talented illustrator Dwitt (who handled the original artwork for NFG & ISHC’s B9 releases) and Bill Hauser, (who handled the coloring of Dwitt’s illustrations), that artwork alone is going to be worth the price of the vinyl- trust us.
