New Rancid album due next year
It has been confirmed that early 2009 will see the release of a new Rancid album as well as a full world tour. No further details are available at this time.
The still-untitled disc is the follow-up to 2003’s “Indestructible”, and is being produced by Brett Gurewitz. It will also be their first release with Branden Steineckert, who replaced original drummer Brett Reed.
The band is currently on tour at the moment. Other than a series of US dates, the band has booked some stops in the UK.
