Pama Intl News- New Album, Supporting the Levellers + The Specials
Sean Flowerdew of Pama Intl had the following to say:
“We’re back out live this month, on the biggest tour we’ve ever been part of, supporting The Levellers. How do we follow that? Two dates supporting The Specials @ Brixton Academy in May! Festivals are starting to get confirmed… already lined up for us to play are; Glastonbury, Larmer Tree and Endorset In Dorset. More to follow very soon, including our first trip to Ireland.
PAMA OUTERNATIONAL – Production A-Go-Go
Huge news on the album & single front…. Pama Intl have once again teamed up with John Collins (producer of The Specials iconic Ghost Town and Pama Intl’s last album ‘Love Filled Dub Band’) to co-produce the album with Sean Flowerdew. We’re all very excited about this. John did a fantastic job on the ‘Love Filled…’ album and although this album is heading in a different direction we know he’ll work the same magic. The first single is heavyweight.
The band are currently adding the finishing touches to the rest of the album, which is to be called ‘Pama Outernational’. It’s scheduled to be released on Rockers Revolt in Sept’09. In the meantime we will be releasing a single a month on limited edition 7″ coloured vinyl and download. Details of the first single go something like this…”
