Social Distortion confirmed for Musink Tattoo & Music Festival
Social Distortion, have been named as one of the headliners at Musink Tattoo & Music Festival in Costa Mesa, California, along with the legendary British metal gods Motörhead. The festival will be a 25-date tour, which takes place from January 30 to March 15, 2009. Many more bands are to be announced soon.
Social Distortion are on hiatus at this moment, due to their lead singer, Mike Ness, undertaking a solo tour. He mentioned this past July that the band will return to the studio next year to rework their still-untitled new album. This will be their first studio album since 2004’s “Sex, Love and Rock ‘n’ Roll,” and also their first release with new member Brent Harding (who joined in 2005) on bass.
