The Damned on nationwide UK Tour

Seminal UK punk band The Damned have embarked on a nationwide tour. The band formed in London in 1976 and are notable for being the first punk rock band from the United Kingdom to release a single (‘New Rose’), an album (“Damned Damned Damned”), to have a record on the UK music charts, and to tour the United States.

“With the longest stable line up in their history, a cracking new album under their belts, a never ending tour schedule, and with fans worldwide still demanding their attention, it looks like the Damned have entered the 2nd decade of the new millennium vital and energized and ready for many more years of Anarchy, Chaos and Destruction.

In the jovial words of the good Captain……”catch us before we die”.

In 2008, The Damned released for download their tenth studio album”So, Who’s Paranoid?” The current line-up includes Dave Vanian, Captain Sensible, Monty Oxy Moron, Pinch and Stu West.
