TNS Records News

News

Plenty of News from TNS Records based in Northern UK:

-Leeds based agro-folk rabble Bootscraper have signed with the label and will release their debut album ‘Country and Eastern’ this summer on TNS. With instruments including accordion, violin, mandolin and banjo Bootscraper’s tales of debauchery will be the sound of your Summer.

-Kirkz will release their second album and it will be available for download from the 1st July and will be in your local record shop from the 1st August. Featuring 12 tracks of fast paced, sing-a-long punk anthems the record is billed for fans of the likes of Rancid, Anti Flag, Bad Religion and Rise Against

-Faintest Idea’s second release is due to be delivered soon and will also be available to download from the 1st July and will be in your local record shop from the 1st August. The album consists of 10 bursts of fast punk mixed with two tone ska and is a must have for fans of the Filaments, Operation Ivy etc. The album was produced and mastered by TimG and the band will be touring all over the UK and the rest of Europe this year.

Unfortunately A WarAgainstSound have decided to call it a day, this is what they said about the split on their myspace blog:

“I won’t bore you going on and on about the numerous reasons this had to happen… But I will say a HUGE thank you to everyone who was involved; we had the fucking best time ever and met the most incredible people. We worked really hard and all in all it was all worth it and although it kinda feels like we we’re only just starting to do good things I guess nothing lasts forever. We will definitely be appearing in other bands and I will pop on here to update where us unbearable cunts end up every now and again. We still have tons of t-shirts and CD’s though. Please don’t let them fester in my room, give it all a home :)

We are genuinely sorry if you actually care, genuinely. If you don’t care, we don’t blame you.

Peace and love, keep supporting the music scene stay active go to shows, put them on, party and love music. See you all around!”
