Everybody Out
I have a slight bias towards good Boston based punk bands, but I do believe Everybody Out deserves this favourable review on merit. Formed by Ex Dropkick Rick Barton and UK based Sweeny Todd(who has left the band after this album!) the record is a sweetly packed and uplifting record, swinging somewhere in between Roger Miret & the Disasters but with a very audible Boston AKA Murphys/Unloved sound. The songs are generally well crafted and harmonious, some with a rocking barroom feel but the keyboards and horns on some tracks keep the up-tempo beat. It will be interesting to see what transpires when a new vocalist is found as there are many positive aspects to take form this record.
