Roots

Definitely some obvious influences here; old school punk rock mixed with an upbeat and sing along edged 2 tone vibe ala The Clash and more recently Rancid. The production I’m not sold on- but as a debut full length it’s got plenty of catchy hooks as it skirts with pop sensibility throughout to deliver a upbeat and solid offering which brushes past several sounds on the way to fine debut. It will probably get you digging through your old record collection as it is a massive throwback to a sound gone by; but done very well. There are some songs on the album that did little for me at all but the last third of the record in particular is impressive.

Fav Tracks: ‘Dead End jobs’, ‘Footsoldier’, ‘Can’t Hear the alarm’
